Summer Care™ 4-1-5 is part of Organic Plant Health's Eco-Advantage line of turf fertilizers. It is the June fertilizer application in our Annual Cool Season (Fescue) Turf Care program. Summer Care™ 4-1-5 is a critical application because of the very timely benefits of all of the components we've included. Summer Care™ contains 10% iron (Fe) for a healthy summer green up without high nitrogen that would cause surge growth. In addition several strains of beneficial bacteria in the Bacilus family are included to support natural disease suppression.

Summer is a stressful time of year for cool season grasses like fescue. Summer Care™ further supports healthy turf in the summer by supplying much needed organic matter to feed soil microbes during their most active time of the year. When soil microbes are more active, their contribution to aerifying the soil is enhanced. This not only increases natural movement of air, water and nutrients but it allows for greater root development in the fall.

In total, Summer Care™ 4-1-5 is packed full of beneficial components that fully support an active and healthy soil food web, which is the foundation of a more sustainable growing environment.
